Pretty relaxed weekend. I'm starting to pickup the running after the race last weekend. Will be running six days this weekend, and about 30 odd miles. I'm still feeling a bit of the runner's knee, but I'm stretching the muscles out quite a bit, using a rolling pin to massage the muscles and stuff. My legs are sorer than usual, but no more than usual while running. I thought about the race I ran last week in my head, and I'm getting convinced that running a sub-4 hour marathon is in the cards in Detroit in the fall. I can't help but be slightly intimidated by the distance. 26.2 miles is a long long long way, and after running 13.1 in one sitting, it seems even longer. Even when I ran 15 miles in Davis a few weeks ago, 26.2 still seems like a long, long way.

In other news, One of the guys in my gaming group is getting a divorce from his wife of about 11 months. They'd been living together for about 6 years before that I guess, so maybe it's true what they say, Marriage changes everything. ;-). So the circumstances are pretty mysterious at this point, but I'd guess right now that he's thinking of sneaking out of town, based on his comments to me and another friend via email. Since most of his problems seem to stem from the fact that his wife isn't around at all anymore, I suspect that he'll probably have no problem doing that. Evidently, she took on a second job, and it is the fact that she is out all night some nights that appears to be part of the problem. I guess that there were some stresses earlier on in the relationship that are now exacerbated by the current situation. I hope that whereever he goes he finds some happiness.

Played my first game of city league recreational softball last night with a different group of guys. We tied the other team 11-11. I played my best game of the spring so far, going 4-5 with 1 run and 2 RBI. I was batting 5th in the order instead of 8-9th (like I do for the IM team I play for). I also played Left instead of Right. It was a fun change, being that there wasn't any pressure to perform like there is on the IM team. Maybe I should just relax and go to more practices and get out there and play.

Not much else.
