They've accepted our new contingencies, and the ball is continuing to roll on this house. We're still set for March 21st. Pretty exciting!
Well, lets see, this log has been pretty full of nothing but house stuff lately. What else has been going on? Well, Deron's game has gone well, and I'm somewhat pleased by the game so far. It seems sort of bland so far, but I'm sure its more due to a plethora of people than anything else. Jim's game starts tonight, and I'm sure it will be different, and hopefully entertaining. After that, it's back to Deron's game for a few weeks. We'll see how things go.
Work is going well. No crises. Gotta like that. Though we are converting our network to DHCP, which is good for a pain or two.

Well, we had the date with the inspector for the house, and it appeared to pass pretty well. There were only three correctable problems, one we'll take care of, and the other two, they get to take care of. The biggest issue was the lack of a working sump pump in a house that is somewhat in a low-lying area. Dumb asses. There is about a 3 inch gap between the top of the sump pump pit and the waterline inside of it. A good rain or snow, and you have an inch of water in the basement. Otherwise, there was a small bit of water in the back corner of the house, and it appears that the drainspouts need lengthening. It also wouldn't hurt to get some black dirt in the backyard in the SE corner. of the house. We also should take care of the deck, it is beginning to show wear, and needs to be re-sealed.
Otherwise, we are getting pretty excited about this event. We now have to learn how to properly paint a room. My parents have volunteered their presence to help paint the place, which is great for us, since neither of us has really done it before. Good of them to offer to help, and I know at this point, that if my parents ever move out of their current place, that we'll be expected to help them move (yikes).
